• Week 1: vs. Eagles (local start)

• Starting the season with Jalen Hurts and the Eagles emerging from the Super Bowl is a daunting challenge, but Tom Brady will be in the building and the juices will flow. Great statement game for the Patriots.

• Week 2: With Dolphins (SNF)

• The Patriots have the fastest team of all time, and it's been a great season for Mike McDaniel as Tua Tagowiloa has one more season in his system. Jalen Ramsey is a good addition defensively, but I'm not sure the team is much better than last year.

• One of the biggest fights of the season will see the Patriots get their first taste of Aaron Rodgers in a Jets uniform. I can't take two more free wins against this team, and Robert Saleh's defense is only going to get better as Willow Gardner enters her second season in the NFL.

• Jeans go as far as Dak Prescott. This is one of the most complete teams in the NFL among its wide receivers and defensive line groups.

• Week 5: vs. saints

  

• The Saints continue to switch quarterbacks each season, and Derek Carr is their last choice at the position. I don't expect much from them this season, so go for another win for the Patriots.

• Most interesting divisional matchup for the Patriots, but I don't think the Bills have improved this offseason and will continue to miss Brian Daboll's impact on offense.

• Another small note about the Dolphins is that they have some QB depth, with Mike White also added to the mix. If Tagovailoa goes down, White has shown that he can maintain the offense for short periods of time.

• Week 9: Against the Commander

  

• I can't give the Patriots much to win right now, but the Commanders don't have much besides a strong defense. Sam Howell may not be the long-term halfback solution for his new owner's group.

• Week 10: vs. Colts (Germany)

  

• First-round quarterback Anthony Richardson will certainly play for the Colts at this point in the season, with similar abilities to Cam Newton, and he should be an interesting test of Bill Belichick's defense.

• Week 11: Goodbye

• Daniel Jones got paid this offseason, so it's time for him to step up with Brian Daboll. There will be a lot of tough matches in the NFC East, which could wear them down as the season goes on.

• Week 13: comparing chargers

  

  He broke the 2020 rookie record for TD passes with 31.

• The Chargers are the NFL's most talented team, but they have the biggest question marks, starting with Justin Herbert needing to prove he's a winner over first-round receiver Quentin Johnson.

• Playing the best quarterback in the NFL in Patrick Mahomes is never easy, but Bill Belichick has done a good job of containing him in the past. All eyes will be on Travis Kelce, who should be the ideal partner for this defense.

• Sean Payton was on the pre-Super Bowl show and was excited to team up with Russell Wilson. I expect the Broncos to be a tough matchup this season.
